Joel has been with the R&R Family of Companies for the past 22 years, our longest driver at the company. He primarily hauls entertainment, but has become the jack of all trades in his career hauling anywhere from generators for the olympics, NASCAR® trailers, MRI machines, and 500 ton air conditioners. He is not bashful, if it has wheels he will move it.

Joel has driven through all 48 contiguous states, accumulating a wealth of experiences and memories along the way. One of his favorite routes is Interstate 84 through Oregon in the summer because of its beautiful scenery. However, his career has also tested him in extreme conditions—like hauling a trailer in negative 28-degree weather, which he describes as both challenging and exhilarating.

Joel's passion for trucks extends beyond work; he enjoys maintaining his own equipment and ensuring all details are attended to. To him, there’s always something to do, and he finds joy in being the go-to handyman for both his truck and his house. He is a proud father of three, grandfather of six, and great-grandfather to eight and cherishes the moments he can spend with them.

Joel upholds the principle that one’s name is only as good as their word, a lesson he learned from a wise old man. His strong work ethic and belief that “hard work won’t kill you” have kept him driving well into his later years.
